18th century girl

Wearing yet another new top, sewn by hand,

volunteering at the Nathan Hale Homestead,

playing a mountain dulcimer in the Homestead's kitchen,

and working with other junior docents
to tend the kitchen garden.

She is loving every minute of this experience
and so am I.

Amazing. What a girl. I love the hat, too!

I wonder, does she ever feel she was born in the wrong century? :)

Another beautiful project! And she looks so pretty in it.

Does Leah play the dulcimer? I'm just starting to dabble with playing music and learned that mtn. dulcimers are in diatonic scale, which seems easier to learn for someone like me. Not the most common instrument here in CA, though!

A good friend of mine plays the dulcimer. It sounds so nice.

Looks like you are both having some great mother/daughter time. Enjoy!
