could've been worse
Anybody remember the icefishermitts I knit for Scott a couple of years ago? They're being put to good use again today, like this:
But, um, something's not quite right.
Do you see it?
How about now?
Sheesh, hon, be careful out there!
As least patching a knitted thumb tip doesn't require a trip to the emergency room!

Yowza! Good thing it was only the mitt and not the thumb.
Yesterday Jim came home from work saying he'd had a terrible day. A 2x4 nearly landed on his head, his ladder almost went over, and a post just about fell down and hit someone.
I said it sounded like a good day to me because all those near misses weren't hits!! My glass is very much half full, and I'm glad my man (and yours) is in one piece.
holy crap that was close!
ack - way, way, way too close for comfort!
Yikes! Scott, be careful!
whoa, close call!!!
OH MY GOODNESS> I am laughing so hard I had to spit my food out! Oh gosh! Ohhhh. that's funny.
I'm not laughing at the near death experience of your darling husband's thumb, but rather, your delivery of the story.
(still laughing!!!!) Just how the hell did that happen!??!?!?!?!
(Still laughing)
